ViacomCBS Virtual Community Day

Virtual Community Day is much more than “volunteering.” It’s also about creating an impact-minded workforce and exposing our employees to (…and celebrating) the many community partners we have across the organization. Even if the “give-back” isn’t as tangible as picking up trash in Central Park, it’s important for this day to meet people on their “give-back” journey. If we expose an employee to a great organization in the community doing impactful work, we feel this is just as important.

  • Due to COVID, this was the second year that ViacomCBS’ Community Day was virtual with the exception of a few in-person volunteer opportunities. I wanted to work with an illustrator to depict the volunteer opportunities that the employees could engage, give back, and connect with. It was extremely important to depict characters that were diverse and represented the variety of people who work at the company.
